Rochester police said two teenagers beat a man and stole his car. Investigators said a 39-year-old man was beaten and his car stolen in the 600 block of Dewey Avenue around 11 p.m. Officers spotted the stolen vehicle on Driving Park around 1:30 am. The teenage driver tried to get away. Police chased the car until it struck a curb on Ridgeway Avenue. The 13-year-old driver and his 14-year-old passenger were taken into custody. Their names are being withheld due to their ages. The driver was charged with Robbery, Grand Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. They are expected to be arraigned Wednesday morning.
