Rice University will award scholarships that will cover the cost of tuition to students from low-income and middle-income families. Starting next fall, US students seeking an undergraduate degree with family incomes under $130,000 will not pay tuition. Those with family incomes below $65,000 will also receive grant aid to cover school fees and room and board. Students with family incomes between $130,000 and $200,000 will be eligible to receive scholarships that will cover at least half of their tuition.
