A Rochester man died Tuesday night after he was hit by a car at the intersection of Lyell Avenue and Wetmore Park. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Police said the man was taken to the hospital where he later died. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and it is not likely they will face charges.
