New Charges For Man Accused of Setting Girlfriend on Fire

A Batavia man accused of trying to kill his girlfriend by setting her on fire is facing new charges. According to The Daily News Online, Genesee County Sheriff's deputies say Plush Dozier,22, damaged a patrol car and threatened a deputy. Dozier was charged with felony criminal mischief and attempted menacing of a police officer. He is accused of setting his girlfriend on fire at their apartment in Batavia in June. The woman survived. According to The Daily News Online, Dozier has been a problem at the Genesee County Jail and deputies want him moved to Attica Correctional Facility. Dozier's attorney is appealing that decision.
