Rochester native Thomas Bryant is having an impressive season in the NBA. Bryant went 5-for-7 shooting with 16 points, 15 rebounds, an assist and two steals in 39 minutes played against the Hawks on Wednesday. The Utah Jazz drafted the 6-foot-11 player out of Indiana University in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft before trading him to the Lakers. He played sparingly off the bench and spent much of his time on the Lakers' G League affiliate. When the Wizards claimed him off waivers in July, the team expected him to play a limited role, but injuries piled up. He is showing a lot of promise for a 21-year-old.
