Batavia Police said the burglaries took place in the area of Ellicott Street between Elmwood Cemetery and W. Main Street. That includes businesses along Jackson Street, Harvester Avenue, Swan Street, Center Street, Apollo Drive and Liberty Street.
According to police, the suspects broke windows or kicked in doors to get inside the businesses. Once inside, the suspects stole items from some of the businesses - but not all of them.
A white 1998 Dodge RAM 2500 diesel with NY plates 65962JX was also stolen from one of the businesses. The suspects are believed to be driving the truck.
Police said they recommend all business owners remove all cash and valuables before closing their stores.
