Syracuse men’s basketball coach Jim Boeheim reportedly struck and killed a man on Interstate 690 around midnight. The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Jorge Jimenex of Syracuse. According to the report, the man reportedly had been in a car with other people when their vehicle crashed. The man at some point got out of his vehicle when Boeheim drove by and struck the pedestrian. Sources say Boeheim is cooperating with the investigation. Sources say Boeheim did not have drugs or alcohol in his system. Syracuse police will hold a press conference Thursday morning.
