A new study has showed a link between wheezing in adults and the use of electronic cigarettes or vaping. The study was conducted at the University of Rochester Medical Center. and published in the journal Tabacco Control. It concludes people who vape are twice as likely to experience wheezing as compared to those who do not use tobacco products on a regular basis. Researchers analyzed data from more than 28,000 adults. According to the U.S. Data from the National Center for Health Statistics, approximately 13 percent of U.S adults have tried vaping.Researchers do admit that this does not prove that vaping causes wheezing; it merely identifies an association between the two.
