At Least 23 People Killed After Tornadoes Rip Through Alabama

At least 23 people, some children, died after a tornado swept through Alabama on Sunday. Rescuers are searching through the rubble of destroyed homes. The death toll is expected to rise. More than 42,000 homes and businesses lost electricity in Georgia and Alabama.The National Weather Service said the twister was at least EF3 in strength and was a half-mile wide or more. Sunday was the deadliest day for tornadoes in the United States since May 20, 2013.
