Woman Arrested For Recent ROC Stabbing Was Previously Arrested In 2015

A Rochester woman who was just arrested for stabbing a guy Sunday morning has a history of trouble with the law.

Shanna Guzman was sentenced in January 2015 after being convicted of petit larceny while working as a CNA at Unity Living Center. The court docs said between June 26th and July 1st 2014 she stole two credit cards from a resident received treatment in a hospital. She then used the cards the following week making about $1,765 in charges at Seabreeze Amusement Park, various liquor stores and a dollar store.

She got fired by Rochester Regional Health when they reported the incident to the state, and she was sentenced to three years probation and 80 hours of community service.

In the most recent incident, Guzman is charged with second-degree assault after stabbing a 32-year-old man around 3:15 a.m. Sunday on Hague Street near Lorenzo Street. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
