Woman Indicted in Fatal Crash in Rochester

A driver has been indicted in a fatal crash in Rochester. The accident happened last month at Norton Street and Hudson Avenue. Mary Singhavong, 32, was charged in the crash that killed Eric Jones of Greece. Singhavong has been indicted by a grand jury on three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, second-degree manslaughter, three counts of aggravated vehicular assault, second degree assault, DWI, DWAI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police say Singhavong ran a red light at the intersection of Hudson and Norton, hitting Jones’ vehicle and then crashing into two others stopped at the intersection. Jones was a Lyft driver who police say was on a fare at the time of the crash.
