New York may reconsider legalization of a device that scans cell phone's recent activity to see how and when someone may have been using it. It is known as a textalyzer. Nevada is currently considering legalization of the textalyzer. Advocates say it could help deter distracted driving while catching people guilty of doing it. The measure is igniting privacy concerns.The company behind the device says it works by scanning the activity, but doesn't store it or show the content of any of the activity.
