I was out for several days with the flu and strep throat. After a few trips to urgent care I have recovered. I don't recall ever being that sick. Thank God I got a flu shot. I cannot imagine how bad it would have been without it. Billy told me to post a photo of how bad my throat looked. It was so swollen I could barely speak (which I know some people would enjoy) and needless to say, incredibly painful. I will warn you it is really gross. Why do I have a photo of it? Well, when one of your best friend's is an emergency room doctor ( Dr. Elizabeth Murray a.k.a. Dr. Peter Pan) you send her photos to get advice. Bless her for putting up with me. I am so happy to be back on the air!
