Wegmans Food Markets is helping people transition from plastic bags to reusable bags. On Saturday, customers can bring a tightly packed bag full of clean plastic bags to any Wegmans location from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In exchange, they will receive a coupon for a free Wegmans shopping bag that is reusable. Wegmans will do away with disposable plastic bags before the New York State deadline in March 2020.
