UPDATE: Man Who Robbed Bank And Lead Police On County Wide Chase Charged

We finally get a look at the man accused of robbing two area banks this week and leading police on a county-wide chase!

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says that 40-year-old Jason Rosso is facing 3rd degree Robbery charges in relation to the bank robbery at the M&T Bank at 3290 Monroe Ave in Pittsford.

Police say the robbery occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on May 14th. After getting an undisclosed about of money Rosso fled in a vehicle.

Gates Police then spotted the vehicle on Jay Street in the City of Rochester. The chase ensued to Gates, Greece back to the City of Rochester, down to Brighton, Henrietta and finally ended after Rosso crashed in Winton Place Plaza on Winton Road.

Police say that Rosso is also wanted in relation to a robbery that occurred on Monday May 13th at the Canandaigua National Bank and Trust on West Ridge Road in Greece.
