This could have ended up way worse than it did.
Oakfield's Brendan Kotarski was arrested early Monday morning after his truck was hit by a train in Corfu.
Genesee County Sheriff's Deputies say Kotarski was leaving a concert at Darien Lake when he drove across the railroad tracks near Depot Street and Maple Avenue.
As you can hear in the video below, the train engineer blew the train whistle multiple times before clipping the back end of the truck.
Kotarski and other passengers did get out of the truck before the train hit it. Deputies were able to track Kotarski down and he's facing charges of DWI, 2nd degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
