On Wednesday night, a truck crashed into a house, exploded, and caused a fire destroying the home on Maple Avenue in East Bloomfield around 11 p.m.
Police say 35-year-old Ross Thompson of Naples lost control of his truck and flew off the road.
Thompson has an ugly past. He is a level 3 sex offender, has a past DWI, and allegedly has a drug problem.
Two adults and one child inside the house got out safely.
