Man Who Stole Money From Bank Busted After Flashing Cash on Social Media

A 29-year old almost got away with a crime. He may have had he not flashed his money on Facebook. The 29 year old worked at a Charlotte, NC Wells Fargo bank and helped himself to $88,000 in customer deposits. He was smart enough to move to California but that is about where the smarts end. He would show off wads of cash in his hand on the floor in front of him and post the photos to Facebook. He paid for his Mercedes Benz by putting down $20,000 in cash; all in $100 bills. He was indicted in late November on more than 30 counts of financial institution fraud, theft and embezzlement, money laundering among other charges.
