Authorities are looking for someone who fired shots in different locations in Gates on Monday night. According to Gates Police Chief Jim VanBrederode, a call came in around 7 p.m. after someone shot out the window at a car at the Kwik Fill near Elmgrove and Spencerport roads. VanBrederode said a second shot was fired when officers responded. Residents in the area were notified to shelter in place while police searched for the shooter. A helicopter searched by air for the suspect. 13WHAM spoke to Deborah Pfeiffer whose parents, Robert and Gail Ulscht, were at the gas station.Their window was shot out. She said the glass shattered in her mom's lap.
