2-Faced Kitten that Went Viral Dies

Just days after its photos went viral and captured the hearts of millions, the two-faced kitten known as Biscuits and Gravy has died. Announcing the kitten's death on Instagram Sunday, Biscuits and Gravy's owner says the double-faced feline's four days of life defied the odds, as most animals born with a congenital defect don't make it through their first day. "He was born with the longest of odds and by living nearly four days, and he beat those odds," the Oregon-based pet owner wrote. "It’s hard work for a little guy like him to support a large head with two complete faces." Biscuits and Gravy was born with a defect known as diprosopus, a condition that causes a duplication of features on an animal's head. Cats with this condition are known as Janus cats, named after the two-headed Roman god. What's the strangest-looking animal you've seen? Are cats better pets than dogs?
