Bagged Salads Recalled After Hundreds Get Sick

If you have a bagged salad sitting in your fridge, you might want to double-check it. The C.D.C. has issued a warning about some bagged salad mixes after hundreds of people have been reported sick in the Midwest with cyclosporiasis. C.D.C. officials say more than 200 people in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin have gotten the intestinal illness after eating the salads; 23 have been hospitalized. The recall includes Marketside-brand Classic Iceberg Salad sold at Walmart and the Little Salad Bar-brand sold at Aldi.
