Chappelle Donating Proceeds of Show to Families of Mass Shooting Victims

Comedian Dave Chappelle is donating proceeds of his show in Buffalo to the families of the mass shooting victims. Ten Black people were killed and three injured during the rampage. The suspect in the case is facing 10 counts of first-degree murder, 10 counts of second-degree murder as a hate crime, 3 counts of attempted murder as a hate crime, one for domestic terrorism motivated by hate, and a weapons charge. Chappelle booked the show at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo just four days prior to the performance. The 3,000 plus seat theater was sold out for the show.
