Parents of a four-year-old boy are suing after their child was accidentally given a vasectomy. The boy was going into surgery to help with issues with a hernia via laparoscopic surgery. The doctor who performed the surgery at Texas Children's Hospital last August "cut the wrong tube." According to the $1 million lawsuit, the boy will “more than likely contend with fertility issues later in life” and could deal with “future medical expenses, future pain, mental anguish, future disfigurement, physical impairment and future expenses for fertility treatments.”
