Some RG&E and NYSEG Customers Will Be Getting Financial Help

The state Public Service Commission has approved financial help for some RG&E and NYSEG customers.

It's for customers behind in their bills who didn't get a credit in the first round of funding.

To be eligible for the one-time credit, customers must have a past-due balance for service through last May 1. The maximum credit for RG&E customers is $1000 for residential customers and $1,250 for small businesses. The maximum for NYSEG customers is $1,500.

Qualifying customers will have their credits processed automatically
