Main Street Armory Sold Just Weeks After Fatal Crowd Crush Incident

The Main Street Armory has been sold just three weeks after the fatal crowd crush incident after a concert there.

County records show Scott Donaldson sold the property on Friday for $550,000.

It was purchased by a limited liability company with an address that belongs to local landlord and commercial property owner John Trickey.

Trickey owned and helped preserve the Rochester Cinema Theater building on South Clinton Avenue.

The last concert at the Armory was March 5th. Three women were fatally injured when they were trampled as the crowd rushed the exits. Police still have the incident under investigation and the city withheld renewal of the Armory's entertainment license.
