The Baltimore Orioles pulled off one of the strangest triples plays in Tuesday night's game against the Boston Red Sox. It started with a simple botched catch. Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr hit a routine pop-up to short left field that he thought would be caught. Or maybe he figured the infield-fly rule was called. Mitch Moreland froze at second base and Dustin Pedroia stayed on first. The ball dropped between shortstop J.J. Hardy and left fielder Trey Mancini. Hardy picked up the ball who threw to second baseman Jonathan Schoop. He tagged Moreland for one out, touched the base to force out Pedroia and threw to first base. Bradley already went to the dugout.
