Henrietta Man Charged With Vehicular Manslaughter

A Henrietta man has been arrested on DWI and vehicular manslaughter charges in a fatal three-vehicle crash yesterday morning in Mendon. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says the crash occurred around 7:50 a.m. on Boughton Hill Road near Hunt Club Drive. Louie Restivo was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Boughton Hill  when he turned left in front of a westbound dump truck. The driver of the dump truck, Aaron Bassage of Macedon, tried to stop, but ended up hitting another eastbound vehicle driven by Hannah Kline. Kline, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither of the men, who are both in their mid-40s. were hurt. Bassage was ticketed for operating out of class, out of restrictions, and for his brakes being out of service.
