Macedon Police are asking for help finding the driver of a suspicious vehicle. It happened on Eddy Road near Route 350 around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Police said a 14-year-old was jogging in the area when a van pulled up next to her and someone inside asked for directions. Investigators said when the teen approached the van a woman grabbed the girl’s arm and punched her in the face. The teen was able to get away and run into the woods. Police said the minivan is described as a dark red or maroon late 90s model with cardboard taped to the inside of the rear driver’s side window. The driver is said to be a woman in her mid-40s with a bob haircut and a blue shirt. A second person in the van is thought to be a woman, but a description was not available. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Macedon Police at 315-986-4121.
