Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio has been suspended with pay by a unanimous vote of the state's highest court. The justices of the Court of Appeals voted Wednesday afternoon to suspend Judge Astacio. She was charged Tuesday with Attempted Criminal Purchase or Disposal of a Weapon. Astacio allegedly attempted to buy a shotgun at Dick's Sporting Goods in Henrietta which violates the terms of her probation. She has been on probation since her arrest for drunk driving in 2016. She continues to collect her over $170,000 year salary. She is currently in the midst of a ten-year term.
