Thousand of 'Penis Fish' Wash up on California Beach

A California beach has been overrun by thousands of "pulsing penises." Known by locals as "penis fish," the thick, 10-inch long sea creatures -- which are officially called fat innkeeper worms -- have been washing up in the Drakes Beach area due to a recent storm, according to Wildlife Society officials. While some people have compared them to Bratwurst, their slightly curved bodies and bulbous heads have earned the species its more popular nickname. Penis fish have actually been around for some 300 million years, according to marine biologists. Some people even enjoy putting them in their mouth; in China, they're served in a stir-fried dish.
