Irondequoit Police are investigating a mail scam across Monroe County. According to 13WHAM, people are stealing mail out of mailboxes. So, police are telling everyone to put outgoing mail into a secured post office box. Irondequoit Police are looking for the suspect who is looking for personal checks that you write and leave in your unsecured box. Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said there was a similar case on Winton Road in Henrietta.
