A gofundme account has been set up to pay for the funeral expenses of Charlotte Lahr. The 46-year-old was murdered inside Char's South Avenue Wine and Liquor. Police said Kevin Quander robbed Lahr's store just before 5 p.m. on Thursday. Police said he was armed with a knife. According to court papers, Quander "repeatedly beat the victim about the head and face with a wine bottle, causing her death." Quander was arraigned Saturday on charges of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery. He pleaded not guilty and is being held in the Monroe County Jail. Quander is currently on parole for a 2007 first-degree robbery conviction. He was released from prison on Jan. 12. According to Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley Quander was sentenced to nine years in prison and five years of post-release supervision.
