I spent a week in Florida with my three children. The weather was perfect. It was fun. Of course, there was the occasional whining, bickering, complaining, etc. Sometimes parents need a vacation from a vacation. I know #firstworldproblems. We spent time with my in-laws. My children were so excited to see their grandparents. Of course, we were at the pool before 9 a.m. everyday. My best friend, Nikki, came down for the weekend. We took my 7-year-old daughter to Disney World. Then, traveled two hours to Siesta Key. It was worth the drive. Siesta Key is so beautiful. The sand on the beach feels like flour. I took my 9-year-old son to see an Orlando Magic basketball game. Let's just say that was an adventure. Downtown Orlando is not exactly the happiest place on earth. My navigator took us through Pine Hills (a.k.a Crime Hills) and my son got to see a lady shoot up at a stop light. Good times.
