The Greece Police Department is asking drivers to avoid unnecessary on Edgemere Drive in the Town of Greece, due to flooding conditions. Only local traffic is currently allowed on Edgemere Drive between Island Cottage Road and Dewey Avenue. Edgemere Drive between East Manitou Road and Lowden Point Road also still remains closed. Officials fear high winds could cause flooding conditions to worsen. A lakeshore flood warning has been issued for the Lake Ontario shoreline in Monroe, Orleans, and Niagara Counties from 6:00 a.m. Sunday through 11:00 p.m. Sunday.
