A Phelps man is accused of abusing his dog. The Ontario County Humane Society says the pitbull, named Zeus, was found lying in a small space on a bare floor that was covered in feces back. According to 13WHAM, the dog was discovered after police executed a search warrant for another issue. According to reports, Zeus had an eye protruding from its socket due to an untreated mass in his head. The Humane Society says the dog was so emaciated that two veterinarian’s recommended that he be euthanized to relieve his suffering. Duval was arrested and charged with Aggravated Cruelty to an Animal.
