The U.S. Coast Guard received a number of calls Tuesday night about unusual lights that popped up over Lake Ontario. It's unclear what caused the lights to appear. According to 13WHAM, the U.S. Coast Guard said Tuesday it is investigating, and that it had ruled out basic flares for now. There are reports Canadian armed forces were conducting training operations.
