The Irondequoit police officer who was accused of stalking and harassing his ex-girlfriend has resigned. According to 13WHAM, Irondequoit Town Supervisor Dave Seeley announced William Rosica's resignation Friday morning. Rosica had been on unpaid administrative leave since his arrest earlier this year. According to a criminal complaint, he was arrested in March accused harassing and tormenting an ex-girlfriend who ended a three-year-long relationship with him in February 2016. Rosica also allegedly tried to hack into the victim's work email account and online medical records. If he is convicted on the charges against him, he faces up to five years in federal prison.
