Police executed a search at home on Wilkins Street just blocks from where a Rochester police officer was shot. According to WHEC, one person was taken away in handcuffs. Officer Jeremy Nash was shot Saturday night. Chief Michael Ciminelli said Officer Nash was wounded near the face. The 36-year-old was responding to a call when he was shot. He is in stable condition at Rochester General Hospital. Officer Nash is assigned to Clinton Section. He was responding to a call when he was shot. Officer Nash is an 11-year veteran with a 3-week-old baby at home.
