Wegmans and the on-demand grocery delivery service Instacart are expanding same-day grocery service to Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse next month. Instacart says they'll hit all three markets in August, allowing Wegmans customers to do their grocery shopping online and have their orders delivered direct to their homes in as little as an hour. The service will cover the full range of groceries from produce to frozen foods. Once the service starts you join it online or by downloading the Instacart shopping app on your phone. Wegmans says your Shopper's Club card will work with the app to get your available discounts, and you can choose the delivery time up to seven days in advance.
