State Making Changes to Intersection Where 8-Year-Old Was Killed

The State Transportation Department says it will make changes to an intersection in Chili where a crash killed an eight-year-old boy in February.The DOT plans to put up "stop ahead" warning signs on Route 386 and Morgan Road.They also plan to cut down vegetation around the intersection so drivers have a clear line-of-sight. They'll also add reflectors to the stop signs. Kael Nicolosi was killed in an accident on the way to school when another car ran a stop sign and hit the family's car. His mother, Tiffany, and tells 13 WHAM she'd like to see more done. Nicolosi and her husband want flashing red lights put up at the intersection.
