28 More Kmart Stores Closing, Two Locally

Sears is going to close 28 more Kmart stores as its earnings and sales continue to fall.  Sears says second-quarter earnings fell a $1.16 a share, which is less than half the loss analysts had forecast.  But same-store sales were off eleven and-a-half percent.  That's worse than expected.  The K-mart stores in Chili and Victor are on the list of stores to close. Sears has closed 180 Sears and Kmart stores already this year.
