Driver in Crash That Injured NYS Trooper Pleads Guilty

A New Jersey man has pleaded guilty to four traffic charges stemming from a crash in Steuben County that seriously injured a state trooper. Kenneth Aukett, 78, was fined nearly $800. He rear-ended Trooper Craig Foglia's vehicle in May on an I-86 ramp in Campbell. Aukett's attorney says his client isn't sure what happened and thinks a medical condition caused him to black out. Foglia was in the hospital until July and is still recovering from his injuries.
