A Rochester man was arrested for driving with a suspended license. In fact, his license had been suspended 47 times. Livingston County deputies say 68-year-old Eugene Smith ran over a stop sign with a dump truck in Lima on October 5 and left the scene. Investigators discovered Smith's license had been suspended 47 times in 22 different states. Smith was charged with the felony, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and failure to stop at a stop sign. Smith is being held in the Livingston County Jail.
