New York State police are investigating a crash that killed a child on a Route 104 near Barrett Drive in Webster. The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Police say a male driving a 2001 Suzuki SUV crossed the access road and hit a tree. Police say there were three children in the vehicle, ages 5, 6, and 2 months. One of them was killed, but investigators have not said which one. The driver was taken to the hospital. Investigators would not confirm if alcohol played a role in the crash.
