A Rochester man is facing charges after police say he took packages off the front steps of a home on Cypress Street. Police were called to the area Thursday following the report of a suspicious person. Tony Babbers was arrested and charged with petit larceny. The stolen packages turned out to be Christmas gifts for a child.
