One of my biggest flaws is my spontaneity. It is also one of my greatest attributes. I decided this weekend to go to the Syracuse basketball game two hours before tip off. That was a good thing. On the other hand, I decided I didn't like my stair railing or carpet. So, without a plan, I ripped off the carpet. The problem was there wasn't wood underneath. It was particle board. So, I couldn't just paint the stairs. I had to add a carpet runner. My father helped put up the chair rail. I did all the painting and I installed the carpet. Yes, all on my own after watching a YouTube tutorial. It isn't perfect, but turned out great!
