Rochester Animal Services is hosting a one-day, free pet adoption event on Saturday. It is supported by New York State Senator Joe Robach and Verona Street Animal Society. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rochester Animal Services Center on Verona Street. All cats and dogs six months and older will have adoption fees waived for the day. Anyone adopting a pet is asked to bring a collar and leash or pet carrier to ensure a safe journey home for their new friends. More information on the event can be found here.
