Two men in Genesee County are accused of running a paving service scam. Charles Elias Cooper of Lodi and Joshua Dennis Cooper of Ovid are charged with soliciting without a permit, scheme to defraud and conspiracy. Cooper is also charged with criminal mischief. Deputies say the two performed driveway repair work at residences without the permission of the homeowners and then tried charging money from the owners. Both were arraigned Monday at Darien Town Court.
