McQuaid's Isaiah Stewart was chosen by the Detroit Pistons in the 16th overall pick in the NBA draft. Stewart is the highest ever played drafted out of the Rochester area. Stewart starred as a freshman for the University of Washington, before declaring for the NBA draft.The power forward averaged 17.0 points per game with a 57.0% field goal percentage, 8.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game.He was named to the 2019-2020 All-Pac-12 First Team and Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. Among all Division I men's college basketball players last season, the 6-9, 250-pound 18-year-old ranked top 35 in blocked shots average and top 30 in double-doubles.
