Police say the man who drove a garbage truck into the back of a car in February was watching a video on his phone at the time of the crash. Jerry Moore, 31, is charged with criminally negligent homicide charges. Paul Laudico, 63, was killed in the accident on Spencerport Road in Gates on February 3. According to investigators, Moore was driving a Suburban Disposal truck with his cell phone playing a video as it was propped up in a cup holder. While the video was playing and Moore looked down to watch it, police said he slammed into Laudico's car - killing him. Moore was released with an appearance ticket to answer to the charge in Gates Town Court on March 30 at 5:30 p.m.
